I think that I had better dip my toe in the blogging pool.
What is the middle lane like? Well today it has involved going as a guest to the opening of new stables at a riding school in South Cambridgeshire, drinking tea, eating cakes, entering competitions to 'guess the weight of a horse', 'guess the number of sweets in a bottle' and 'indentify the mystery items in a box by feel alone'.
Life in the middle lane is totally chilled out - none of the heavy lifting that clogs up the slow lane while the press-on urgency of the world's turbo-charged passes by your elbow - you can see it all without having or feeling any need to join in.
